Happy Friday!! It’s Fun Detail Friday again, if you’re not sure what that is, check this out! I love the idea of stopping every Friday to appreciate something small. Something that maybe you wouldn’t have stopped to appreciate, because you’re thinking, “Oh that’s nothing.” But that is really one of my main points, stop and enjoy the little things in life!
So, today, I’m telling you about where I park my car at most grocery stores. I know people who avoid these spots like the plague, because they think their car will get scraped or damaged (and it might), but when you have kids, this is the spot to be! I’m willing to take the risk.
Ok, don’t judge, my little detail is all about parking next to the cart corral! I love when I roll into the grocery parking lot and find a spot right next to it.
Parking next to the cart corral with small children is the perfect place to be. It’s comparable to being front stage at your favorite concert. Ok, maybe not, that’s a bit extreme. But, it is very convenient!! Try it. You can load kids into the cart right from the start, and get everyone settled. Best of all, when you come out with a full cart of kids and groceries, it makes it so much easier!
I once saw a woman standing next to her car with her cart, looking around with a sense of stress. I offered to take her cart for her, and she was so grateful. She told me that her small children were already buckled into the car, and she didn’t want to leave to take the cart back. I decided right then to be conscious of where I park, especially with my kids in the car.
I know it might seem like a small, silly little detail, BUT it’s the little things, right?!
So what’s your fun detail today? Remember it can be anything! Comment below with something small you love today, or tell me if you park next to the cart corral or avoid it??
