This post gets me so excited every week! If you haven’t already checked out Week 1 and Week 2, check them out too! I’m giving you five things every Friday that I’m loving. It’s a nice opportunity to stop and look back on the week. This was a really long week for me. I had a really challenging week as a stay-at-home-mom, feeling like I didn’t get many free moments to get things done, so I’m extra grateful that it’s the weekend. I’m also grateful for the Easter weekend filled with family, faith, and fun! So here are five things I’m loving this week:
Gwen Stefani’s album dropped last Friday, and I had to get my hands on it right away! I’m loving all the tracks. I haven’t bought an actual CD in a long time (thanks to iTunes), but I really wanted to see the album artwork and lyrics. It was totally worth it, and it made me feel very nostalgic too, because No Doubt was the very first CD I ever bought when I was younger.
2 – Matching Easter Dresses for my Girls
I wasn’t going to buy the little one a dress, because I had quite a few choices from when my oldest was little. But then I saw these, and I just couldn’t resist. Sorry hubby! Just kidding, he loves them too! I can’t wait to see my little girls (Ages 4 & 1) all dressed on Sunday for Easter church and family time.
Elin Hildebrand is one of my favorite authors when I’m looking for a light, beachy read. I love the Nantucket setting of her books, and I always get swept away for a few hours. I try to switch back and forth between light reads (mostly chick lit) and deeper, more meaningful reads. I just finished this last week, and I can’t wait for her next book to come out.
4 – 30 Day Pilates Challenge
I’ve been on this incredible journey in 2016 to get healthy. You can read all about my resolutions, or find out about my low carb lifestyle. I do yoga at least six times a week, and it’s my favorite way to workout and also center myself. But, I stumbled on this challenge at the beginning of March, and I’m just loving the 10-minute workouts each day. It’s not too late to start either – you can start now and enjoy all the benefits of this challenge. Just head over to The Balanced Life and enjoy Robin’s great daily workouts.
5 – Morning Lemon Water
I started drinking warm lemon water in August 2015, and I look forward to it every morning. There are some great benefits to drinking this first thing in the morning (yes, before your coffee). I love how instantly hydrated I feel, and it definitely aids in digestion and strengthens your immune system. You can read about my morning lemon water if you’d like to find out more.
Happy Friday everyone! Hope your Easter weekend is filled with family, faith and fun too! Remember to show some love and share this on your favorite social media.
